Hello readers,
It has been a long time since my blog has not been updated. Currently I am keeping myself so busy with uni stuffs and lab works in AIBN. I applied for volunteering work during EKKA festival and probably I'll be representing my uni to demonstrate DNA extraction from strawberry. do come and see me this Saturday insyaAllah. hihihi..
somebody has asked me if I have any experience visiting orphanage centre and of course.. I do have one! The experience is memoreable obviously and it happened when I was in my preparation college, INTEC shah alam. I was one of the members in the Inspeg club-a volunteering and welfare community club and we decided to conduct some activities in a day trip at an orphanage in Shah Alam.
Once I were there, The first thing that I'll be surprised is the smiles on those faces that greeted us upon our arrival. But, no one will never know that deep inside their heart there are hidden sad and unforgettable memories. They prefer to bury the memories and not sharing.
We started to know each other.talk.laugh.and play around.
The main thing I've learnt here is.."it's not that easy to conduct a session unless you really know how to communicate with different ages kids. I was given a task to lead activities for group aged 5-6 and it was really tough! It ended up to be *failed* i guess and I let my partner to conduct most of the sessions later on. The mistake that I've done is I do not know how to grab their attention.my communications is imperfect. and so, they were hardly want to listen to what I wanna say.
But anyway, as you spent much time with them, pampered them with your love, the last thing that you'll realize is how easy the love can develop between yourself and the kids. They probably will not share what they experienced before but they shared their tears with you, saying "please don't go", "please stay with us", "we love you sister".
They were lack of love. they missed the family world. they grew up together with their friends but yet love from a family is irreplaceble.
The moral here is, we should appreciate what we have right now. we have father + mother + siblings. why must we disobey our parents while we knew that listening to them signifies our respect to them. why do we need to hurt their feeling while they are still alive.till the death has not came upon us, let us be such a good child to our parents.please them while they were with us. or we'll be living in a regretful life forever.
